St. David's

St. David's is 90 mi/145 km northwest of Cardiff, named after the national patron saint. It is home to the lovely St. David's Cathedral and an adjacent ruined Bishop's Palace. Both are very much worth exploring. St. David himself is interred in the cathedral.
