Perth

Set on the banks of the Tay river in a hilly wooded area near Scone Palace, Perth is where Macbeth breathed his last. This city has an excellent base for exploring beautiful countryside that was important and influential in Scotland. The palace is a beautiful structure covered with red ivy, and several peacocks wander the grounds. Dont miss a chapel and a replica of the Stone of Scone on which the Kings of Scots were crowned.
