Haarlem

Haarlem is located just 15 mi/25 km west of Amsterdam which has population of 214,000. The city has beautiful medieval houses, a 13th-century city hall, great tulips and the Teylers Museum which includes science, technology and Dutch art. The most favourable places are St. Bavo Church, a 5,000-pipe organ that Mozart played as a child, Haarlem hosts Floriade, a massive horticultual exhibition with plants from all over the world. Zandvoort is that city's most popular beach resort which is especially crowded in June, when Zandvoort hosts the Dutch Grand Prix.
