Cologne

Cologne has Romanesque churches, well known for its many art galleries. Cologne is located on the Rhine River, this delightful city with Roman origins has the largest and most famous church in Germany. The stunning 13th-century Gothic cathedral also known as the Dom with dramatic twin spires. Don't miss the museum complex next to the cathedral which contains the Ludwig Museum and the Wallraf Richartz Museum. Also take a visit the nearby Romisch-Germanisches Museum constructed by Roman Dionysius mosaic.
