Lincoln

Lincoln is 120 mi/190 km north of London situated on a low hill above the modern town. The main attractions are the cobblestone streets, old shops, a castle which includes some ancient Roman walls, the Newport Gate is the most interesting and a spectacular three-tower cathedral dramatically set on a ridge above town.
