Hereford

Hereford is 45 mi/70 km southwest of Birmingham which is located on the River Wye. Hereford's main attractions are the 11th-century cathedral, houses the Mappa Mundi, a world map drawn in the 13th century, and a fine example of a chained library. Other attractions arr remarkable mueums, the Kilpeck, Goodrich, Hay-on-Wye and Brockhampton. Hereford also makes a good base for exploring the picturesque Wye Valley.
