Cambridge

Cambridge is 50 mi/80 km north of London which is well known for the university opened in the 13th century. The main attractions are the old stone university buildings, the 16th century King's College Chapel, Trinity College's Great Court and Wren Library, the Fitzwilliam Museum and the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. Dont miss the wooden Mathematical Bridge at Queen's College, the magnificent gothic Ely Cathedral, Saffron Walden, Colchester and Lavenham. The most enjoyable is the boating on the moving part of the river, which flows past the oldest buildings on campus.
