Royal Castle

The Royal Castle is on the east side of the square. It was a wooden strong hold built by the Dukes of Mazovia lator rebuilt in brick. In 1918 it became the residence of the President of Republic completely destroyed by the Nazis after the magnificent reconstruction in the seventies a museum open to the public with guided tour in English too.
