Radhuset (City Hall)Inaugurated in 1950, The City Hall has been called 'agreessively ugly' to the pride of Norway. Its simple brick exterior with double towers houses, the stunning 85 x 43 foot wall painted by Henrik Sorensen. On the display the mutual life by Edvard Munch, Tapestries, frescoes, sculpture and wood carvings by Dagfin Werenskiold can be seen. Don't miss the courtyard where visitors can see the astronomical clock and Dyre Vau's swan fountain.
